I'll add my two cents to this. I hadn't played GalCiv2 in a while (before the 1.3 patch, actually!) and reinstalled in the last couple of days. I hadn't had any crashes to desktop from out of memory that I remember before this and now, I've had several. I know my system (P4 1.5 GHz, 512MB of RAM) isn't the most powerful but that's a little odd. GalCiv2 used to run just fine on my laptop and now? Running, running, running... *CLANG* as it hits a wall.
