Thanks guys for all of your thoughts. I really am planning on working on my own ships but couldnt figure out why I wasnt getting any new canned ships. I must be spreading my techs a little too much as I have teched a lot of things. Thanks Eidolonsfury that is exactly what I was looking for.
I do have many of the weapons techs up to level three. should I be seeing additional ships in my list. I am planning by the way to make my own but the first time through I would really rather use the canned ones.
I am having trouble with the ship part of the game. I thought there was some standard ships with the game. I have found the basic ones you start with like the constuctor and defender but no offensive big bad boy ships. I am able to create them but my first time through I just wanted to use the canned ships. Is there something I am missing or is there a point after the first couple of ships that there are no more canned fleet ships? Thank you for any help on this.
