memory pbs with V1.11 in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

i have installed V1.11directly from th eoriginal game (ie no intall ov V1.1). i now find the memory requirement is enormous (gigantic universe at the start of a game) about 450M RAM! this was never the case. is this correct ? any comments thanks regard
