I'm as surprised as you that there is no response at all. A little more patience seems to be necessary - well the game is out for one year, some hours wouldn't make such a huge difference. And as you can see there wasn't much activity in this thread for months. Maybe a reason for others not to check every day. I think that the first idea of a council of a few embers is the best way to start the whole idea. Take it as a temporary strategy to see if there are enough players supporting it. This gives the time to work out what aims, rules and whatever precisly - considering all the different ideas listed in all threads. If the idea succeeds then you can think about scaling up with a larger number. If you start with dozends of different ideas of what the council is to be then already the first vote
Seems like lots of Orcas are visiting the forums as randomly as I do. Hope there is more response on the thread soon. And you have to admit, that getting through the differntent threats according to the idea of a MV council takes some time.
Checked the first post on this thread days ago - really got a lot of attention so far. I argee that the MV needs some new ideas. I remember when the Orcas started and we had the discussion about the scoring system. The MV changed a bit since then, but still the system is unfair. As others said, only military victory is rewarded. This only one point I would like to see changed. (But I have some doubts that SD is going to change anything on that.) They always say its the "overall" score. So it should be working a integral way. When I boost military production at the beginning for longer period for go to war and lower research it feels like it is always harder to enhance the research score later. What are your experiences?
I realized that there sometimes is a reduction of eco after some time, but I didn't know that 20k is the magic point. I always have a high money account so the jumps in the graph were not that often. 20% sounds high - but also plausible. I actually have no idea how to avoid it. I need to do so - and I enjoy it too much having +100.000 MC per turn. As long eco is my highest score I can take the 20%.
