When an in game movie starts to play (any movie) it just stops and the music keeps playing. I downloaded the Bik software but it still happens in game. I can play them in the galciv2/movies folder just fine but not when I am in the game. I know this is minor but any help would be greatly appreciated!
Might be something or could be working as intended. Playing on a Small map with 3 other races. I was at war with the Yor and needed to quick build a custom built ship, as a Yor transport was heading my way. I used the Build Now option and paid about 3000bc for the new class ship. The very next turn the Yor invaded my planet, As I looked at the newly Yor planet there was my ship but it was now a Yor ship.. Wi
Should be able to use the "Enter" key to advance your turns. Not sure never had mine disappear.
Just tried this in an actual game. Poured all my resources and planets into research and went for a tech victory, without researching UT. Doesn't work. I went head to head as Yor against Terrans and they pretty much slaughtered me. They didn't declare war at all. They pretty much just attacked my constructor without reason or cause and then started to take me out one planet at a time. On the other hand, I didn't really even research Warfare and was crushed within... 12 turns. <
