I always sucked at Starcraft. Nevertheless: the storyline, the design of the alien races, the differing strategic possibilities and finally the suspenseful music - All this made this game a fantastic one. Anyone who measures the value of games solely in graphics and in age is a real ½wit.

When it comes down to it, all the playable races of GC2 are in fact just physical manifestations of different human ideologies (Well, I haven't figured out the Thalans, but you'll get my point eventually...) - and the Iconians represent a transcendental branch of enlightenment that I really enjoy. Well, you can't blame your allies for having a cunning intelligence. Each civilization, while loyal to their allies, still wants to be the dominant race in the universe. That means grabbing your piece of the cake. I guess.
