Ok, my next question. What abilities should I take. I've reset the Drengin abilities. I'm thinking along the lines of soldiering, weapons, ship hp, etc. I've seen what high soldiering can do. Thoughts?

But I like poking things. Especially those weird beings with lumps on their chest when they bend over
Ah, thanks. Maybe now I'll have better success at winning and getting higher scores than 250
Er...Make sure your home world has good stuff on it because you need it to build colony ships when you run out of money to buy them. And don't wait to put planetary improvements on your homeworld like the rest of your planets (that you colinized(if you do it this way)). hope that explains it... What do you mean don't wait?
Blah, that's a lot to take in. I'll have to re read it a few times to get the grasp of it.
I wasn't the only one that got purcursor ships, so I dunno. But don't do what on my home world?
Ok, now when abouts should I do that? Like, at first, how many planets should I attempt to colonize?
I'm playing on Normal difficulty atm. This may sound noobish, but how does the all-factory strat work? And how were you able to dominate your opponents with research?
Hi Mad Dragon, if you would like to join then you are most welcome. It is very easy, follow this link join Tyranny of Evil and click, Join Empire. Or if you like, i can send you an invite. We'd love to have you and offer any knowledge we have. We were all noobs at some point, and i am still learning many aspects of the game every time i play. If you do join up, leave me a post here and i'll
Hmmm, I see. So, can someone list the techs of importance, from most to least? This would be a great assest. I turned off tech trading, because I read somewhere that it should be turned off(can't remember for what reason). I'd also like to mention that I am playing DL, not DA. I plan on getting DA in the near future.
Hey, how do I go about joining? I need a place that is willing to help teach a noob .
I've posted in the game talk forum about the game that I lost horribly. I'll post it here as well. A bunch of you have been wondering what I usually do during my games(especially the game that I lost by tech). So, I'm going to give you a rough draft of what I do, from what I can remember. Ok, so new game, everyone on abundant, fast tech and random map size. chose 4 random opponents(I was drengin(sp??)). Game started off with me putting 1 of each building that I started out with

Har har Sorry, but you left it wide open and too easy And good luck in th
Maybe it doesnt' help that I am playing an evil race, but no matter what I do, I only end up with having 1 freaking planet left and having to go from there. I don't get it. What am I doing wrong? Maybe this game is too smart for me. I really have no idea what I am doing wrong. Ppl say there isn't a concrete strat. I beg to differ. There must be SOMETHING of a concrete strat for the beginning of the game. I am so fustrated with sitting at only 1 planet the majority of the game while the
It is by no means a complete strategy, just a tip, but try setting your spy production to max once you get positive cash flow. Leave it there and forget that it is movable. Then try to put each spy on the most economically or bonus sensitive spot you can find. Farm tile (to crash population), Happiness tile, Tech capital, Precursor Library, etc. Remember that AIs are often operating right on the edge of their financial resources (because their
I'm gonna get in on this, as much as I suck .
The last DL game I played, I had a couple of things abundant, a couple of things random, and tech on normal. I'll probably up the tech speed to very fast, and tech trading was off. Of course, I was only playing against 1 com. I'm slowly relearning this game, hence only 1 com at this time.
Wow, nice. I'll have to see if I can pick it up in the next couple of days. Should I wait to master DL first or just dive in?
I've been hearing a lot about DA, but I really don't know what DA actually includes/whats different. Can someone let me know? I might go pick it up tonight after work.
I'm wondering if any of these strategies work for DL.
Ohhhhhh, I guess I should have stated that I was playing DL before hand, lol. So then what's a good build strat for a planet then? And when it comes to ship upgrades, should I have a planet specialize in just having those?(like extra hp, speed, etc)
I went on metaverse and logged onto my old account and everything came up fine for me(I think I did choose black interface before, because the interface colour on this account is red, which helped immenesly...
