[quote who="Bloodlust1983" reply="11" id="3549979"] I told stardock once: tune every race up not just those Drengin scum. Oh that'll be fine, don't worry they told me. Now -- fail I told stardock yet again: you guys are going the same road to failure as you did in GC2 and it's miserable expansions. Your new game is having all the same problems as before. This all will be different this time they told me. Now -- fail

The AI has serious deficiencies compared to what other game?
The loading screen stays on for 2-3 minutes?? You should defrag your HDD or something. On my PC it lasts for just a couple of seconds.
Hi! I just bought Galciv and can't find an answer to a basic question (probably really stupid, but please have patience). I read that the game supports up to 100 factions. I only see eight races. Does this mean that I need to create new races in order to have more than eight players on the map? Have I missed something?

Hi! I have a question about the option that allow me to use CPU intensive algorithms (spelling?). What's the disadvantage in using them? Am I shortening the life of my PC? Until now everything is running perfectly well. Can I safely continue to use this option? Filippo
Thanks for your answer. When I download Dark Avatar the first time from Total Gaming does it come as a Setup.exe file (or similar) that I can burn on a cd? I ask you 'cause I have my fastest connection at work but, of course, my game is at home where the connection is good (DSL) but not awesome as at work. Filippo
I have a few questions about Dark Avatar. If I pre-order will I pay less than if I wait for the final release? Will I be able to backup on a CD both the beta release AND the future update (to be sure that I have safe on disk the fnal release and not only the beta)? When do you think the final release will be available for download? Filippo
I started to play games at age 15. Now I'm 28 (well, 29 in August) and a lot of things has happened in the world of computer games since I first played on a PC (monkey Island!!). In all this years I've looked for a deep, rewarding strategy game with a strong, non cheating, human like AI. Yesterday my search came to an end. I've played GC2 all night (it wasn't planned, I wanted just to try it for an hour or so). Of course the AI kicked my butt really hard, playing like a very very very strong hum
