Setting it on intelligence throws the game into Challanging setting and I cant fricken win one of those damn games, ever. I make a troop transport and I can be 9 sectors away and they declare war, i'm just going to uninstall.
Frumph
How do I uninstall this #$#$@?
Cant get past normal, on challanging they start to attack after the first 20 turns, and by than I couldnt do anything. How did they get transports after 20 turns? no idea I want to know that trick. I can get an extra 40 turns if I set everyone on friendly before the game starts though... but yeah, challanging and higher really stink.
I have 2 accounts on Eve atm. The first couple of months of experience were great. Spent a couple months in 0.0 space and went broke with all the loss of ships. I still login to change my skills, but dont really play for real anymore. Its lacking content. Developers of the game basically state that its a 'pvp' game. and thats their response for the lack of content. But its all good, i'm glad you like the game. If you need any startup cash, put Frumph on your friends list
I would like a mod that: 1) When you change the difficulty it changes how the AI get bonus's, harder difficulty more bonus they get. 2) When you change their intelligence it changes how they react to the player and other AI's. Both able to move independantly of each other. So I basically want to have a normal game, where they are on an equal level with me, no bonus's besides their standard racial ones, their ships have to have the requirements to
Its based on YOUR players planet quality score during the game. Not the AI's. The AI's might be totally different than yours so can only build on certain tiles. If it isnt, it should be.
Honestly? Do what you want. In eve-online the quote is "Fly only what you can afford to lose." .. if you cant afford to spend the time to maintain a forum than dont do it, however still make it possible for players to report bugs.
This happens to me alot as well, heck I can have my transports parked 3 sectors away next to my own planet, in my own influence space and they do that. The AI isnt smart enough to use its own influence area as a basis for those function checking I suppose. (which it should)
Okay I experimented with it and YES it IS a bug. If you click on the option for auto focus it will move the camera TO the new ship that you want to use. (Thats intended) however. with it off, its supposed to display in the lower middle at the start of your turn the first ship thats available but NOT move the camera HOWEVER, it is NOT doing this, instead its putting in that lower middle box the planet that it came from. (hope that makes more sense)
Wait, so its a feature? bah
Who cares if I hit the tab key or not, its not how the function should be. I'm reporting a bug not asking for help.
After a turn is over and your ready to start your turn again, focus isnt shifting to the first ship available with moves. It is instead focus'ing on the planet that it came from.
I honestly thought that it was just me having this problem. and I have the updated drivers... it took a few tries and finally finished the stardock updater without shutting the computer down and restarting
1. while Constructors are in a 'fleet' and auto piloting into a starbase, if they come from an angle they -do not- enter the starbase's square, however if they come from up down left or right, they enter the starbase's square. I would like it if they didnt enter the starbases square, ever. 2. The difficulty from normal to challanging is too extreme. Normal mode is great, I can win any game I play, I switch it to the next one up, challanging and i'm toast within the first 10 minutes of pla
