Too bad, because since upgrading to 1.6 (and 1.61) I cant play it any more without random crashes on hitting the Turn button. It's particularly disappointing, since I've had hardly *any* stability issues with previous versions. And yes, I did submit bug, with save game, Smart Exception, and reproducibility info to gc2bugs.

I'm getting what looks like exactly the same crash, with a very similar debug.err; as suggested, I've sent SE files + debug.err + savegame to gc2bugs. Auto-email response with Case Id 39560.

Missing updates: - Colony Module costs 50 (previously 30), - More Colony Modules can be fitted on a ship, Plus Colony Modules now only hold 250 (previously 500). Note that the description for the Colony Module in Ship Design still says 500 btw.

Agreed, I've just run into this in the DA campaign. Dread Lord ships were hurting me bad, and had 16 missile defense. My fleets of 5 ships (each with 6 Missile attack +1 bonus) would take down 1 DL ship, and suffer 3-4 casualties. So, I researched up lasers, and switched to equivalent strength fleet. Now, my fleet dies, landing only 1-2 hits total. It definitely seems like non-optimal defenses arent degrading during a combat round. Major combat bug, and makes it very h

One thing I have noticed with 1.3 which I didnt see before is that the AI (particularly the Drengin) will colonize some new planets with very small populations (ie less than 100m). Not sure if its a coincidence or not, but it seems to happen mostly for those with low PQ (ie 8 or less). This is on medium galaxies, painful difficulty.

I've had something similar happen with 1.3, when I colonized a planet and had to make an ethics-related choice which resulted in a PQ boost for that planet. Planet was originally PQ8, but after that and the ethics tech researched (neutral) it's now listed as PQ17 but with only 13 tiles. Production is kinda broken on this planet too - its at about 50% of what it should be, which doesnt make any sense to me. Also, it seems that when you conquer a planet now, you dont get any tile

Being pedantic, what you describe is simply haggling, not bartering. As such, I think it seems fine - and not too tough to implement. True bartering, on the other hand, is trading for other than currency - ie tech(s) for tech(s) trading. This is much harder to get right, as it needs to take into account who initiated the trade, and what they wanted, so that the counter-offer is appropriate. Alternatively, you can make the counter-offer is based on what was initially offered - but this i
