I wouldn't have guessed that all that activity was so heavy on the system. I always thought that if I can play a FPS on my system then I can always play a TBS from without any trouble. In short, I thought that since I can play DOOM 3 on my system I thought that this would be a piece of cake. Oh well, time's they are a changin'

I've noticed that GC2 slows down tremendously when I play larger maps or maps with lots of "traffic". I'm wondering what's chewing up all that CPU-power? Is it the graphics or is it A.I. algorithms etc.? The graphics are nice, but I wouldn't guess that they are the cause of the slow down. I do have an old (3 years) system and it's high time to upgrade, but since I'm curious... ... where the bottleneck? Pentium M 1.4 GHz 768Mb 266MHz DDRAM Memory 64MB nVidia GeForce4 4200 Go
wait wait wait wait... your wife plays this game too...?! DANG you are lucky! i would love to get my fiancee hooked on this! Me too, but my gf just isn't into games
I'd welcome a multiplayer add-on, but in my opinion the great single player experience outweigh the loss of multiplayer.
I haven't had any trouble yet. I'm using Firefox 2.0.
Ah, sweet! Thanks for the info
I recently had to do a complete reinstall of Win XP on my laptop. When I try to reinstall GC2 I realized that the first CD is scratched and won't install. Do I have to buy a new one or can I download the necessary data if I can provide my serial somewhere?
