I have to say, I'm really enjoying the random events inside of a game. 1. Random ethical challenges when colonizing a new planet. 2. Ongoing ethical choices for already colonized planets (although a little weak) 3. Random benefits of anomalies (above and beyond +1 to +5 to a racial attribute) 4. Random political vote events (such as forcing all races to trade a number of unique techs) 5. Most of all, the pure random events that go on during the game. <b

I like cool ideas and stuff. But darn... kind of adds complexity to the game where I don't want it.
That would be an even worse screenshot from hell if you were in a game with high logistics points.
More info on the issue.... I just completed a diplomatic victory. Got the ending video. Is it just there is no ending video for a conquest victory, or is it just me? Yeah, Starforce is the one who turned me onto the game. I never liked Galactic Civilizations I, so I thought this was going to to more of the same and didn't even think about playing it. Glad Starfoce got me on board, I love this game... it is just like playing a modern Master of Orion. But back to my problem..
So based on Starforce's recommendation, I downloaded Galactic Civilizations II. Wow. Absolutely mind blowing. This is what Master of Orion III should have been, no questions, hands down. So then I quickly discover this is a commercial product. So I go out and buy a copy. Great to be supporting such an excellent game like this.
