Hi, I could not find a post about this issue, by using the search function... but I know some people already reported it in other threads; what I do not know is if Stardock is aware of this. Look at this first post, check the post starter: https://forums.galciv2.com/?forumid=274&aid=113582 Am I sick or is it empty? And when you select the invisible content, it appears in a light gray. As you can see, people are replying without speaking abou

Great! I mean this needs a dedicated group to work on it! @Excalidan: I appologize but when I created the post, I could not find one about this critical issue. I found plenty about the missing tooltips for Internet Explorer (which, by the way, is fixed now! good work, now find a dictionnary )

Don't think so... One of the minimum requirements is a DirectX 9.0c compatible graphic card. The GeForce2 is not one of those.

Hi, Just noticed that the tooltip for the Neutral alignement metaverse medal in the forum is misspelled: it reads "N ue tral" Yeah, I know it's very minor But let's strive to perfection edit: just checked on Metaverse profile pages, the tooltip is correctly written "N eu

I started the campaign a few time ago... By default, game was set to Normal. I noticed that on the second campaign where you have to fight the Dread Lords and only them, the game sets the difficulty to Cakewalk by default... Is this made on purpose because it's very difficult against them or..?

The missing tooltips are a known IE-only issue A good way to promote Firefox Just kidding. Noticed this too at work (IE). Tooltips are poping up at home (FF or FX?)

It is showing a light gray text with while highlighting behind it, making it impossible to read without highlighting. Again, another minor bug This morning, I had the same problem in 2 different threads: the original post was apparently empty, and highlighting it would show the text in light gray. The replies were ok: normal white color. I

In the lower left hand side of your shipyard "space" view, there are those controls to zoom in, rotate and such. The lower left hand button on this control permits you to toggle on/off the hardpoints... click on it to see if it changes anything.

I like the changes too. Before I deleted the cache, the display was garbage but now it's ok (using IE 6.0... sorry, I am work and they do not want to switch to Firefox ) One thing I miss: the info box on metaverse medals/awards does not pop up anymore, at least not on my computer.

The shield should also show up in the planet list. Last time I checked, I think I saw shields displayed in the Planet list. Not on the Civ manager but on the Planet list, it shows up. Am I wrong?

I guess they need to be sure you have an account at Stardock and that you bought the game. Requiring only a valid serial number is not suffiscient, this would widely open the door for all non-purchased copies running around. Everyone could install the update. Requiring the user to "register" online again makes sure that this user using this serial has an account and legally purchased the game. Makes sense for me... we cannot have everything served on a silver plate.
