Yes,thank you for clearing it up, I agree with you that starships needs a fuel, and regarding the posted article I was not just aiming at the game, that's why I like Deuterium answer (it appears in Star Trek, but I never thought of it as possible fuel for extremely fast ships in the real world). Which fuel would be good for hyperdrive, ion drive, warp engines? I hardly can imagine some (known to us today) conventional fuel (like oil) being good for hyperdrive thingy! How do you play in windowed mode? I think it's about resolution...MY desktop is on 1280X1024 res, and game is on 1024X768, so yes, I'm playing windowed mode too... And also, love the thing that I don't have to use keyboard, it's kinda easier to set my self up in the bed...I often fall in sleep while playing...

I won the similar situation by building influence starbases, but it took me some time... I guess it won't make any better difference from attacking them from turn to turn! It's all about your moral decision!

Those are good points... Unfortunately game stays a bit locked in our humanoid presumptions about life in outer space...A little bit of free thought and imagination wouldn't be doing any bad for some future games like this... But I do have a feeling that I play Star Trek thing from time to time....
