I have just installed 9131 this week because of weird problems with HOMMV. Problems resolved. I have had no problems on any of my software with the new nvidia drivers. I know this doesn't really help you, but I thought I would post because I am running the same card(s) as you 6800gt but in SLI @1280x1064 with2gbof ram and everything is very smooth. Sound has always been choppy in GalCiv2 for me, try turning down hardware accelaration yet? I think that reduced my problems. G

I would like to see them. Good suggestions Meglobob. It could be taken to great lengths, like having to work with other races to stop the space-bug scourge etc. Also different critters that destroy different resources, "Argh Starvation!" Bring forth the infestation (on a wish list) A.

I have the same problem, my friends are goody-goody, nooberific strategy gamers that I would like to soundly abuse, I use the metaverse to talk trash against them. (Yes I realize that my metaverse standings are only meager, but my friends are really inept at anything that isn't a FPS) Abulurd Evil never dies

I have noticed choppy sound also. If a debug.err is required, i could probably find it. Also, shouldn't this post be in a bug notes folder?

Why grow crops? To keep the humanoid slaves from getting too skinny. If they get too skinny they aren't worth recycling. Abulurd

Maybe there should be an expiration date? I.E. if you don't post a score to the metaverse in 3 months your empire is placed in a hall of fame somewhere, and considered inactive?

Played the original and love Gal Civ 2 so far. Now I want all the extras, but the best buy where I purchased the game didn't have a copy of the collectors edition. Eater of worlds in training. Abulurd H.
