This is why you should not but "indy" games. I love Galactic Civilizations II. I played it all the time on my old XP machine. I bought a new computer with Vista Home Premium and an NVidia card. I can no longer play. "indy" games suffer from lack of support from both the developer and the industry overall. GC2 was even well rated in industry magazines.
