It is that simple, really. Every once in a while I'll give mtself a PQ 26 to start just for fun.

One running theory is that the 360 and the PS3 will be the last consoles with "hard" media. I'm sure they would probably like that...much cheaper for them in terms of distribution, but I don't see it ever happening. In the same way that you can get e-books now, but that hasn't made any real dent in book sales. People, for the most part, WANT the physicality of the book. I paid good money, I want to touch it, hold it, leaf through its pages. By the same token, if I pay $60+ for
I'd certainly like to steal ships.
Will also point out that you won't just be getting new ships, but also an almost completely revamped Trek tech tree. Working on it right now. George
Changing the animations is doable. The Trek mod I'm helping with has new Phaser and disruptor animations
Are you going to put all this in a single mod setup at some point. If so, any idea when it might be availiable?
"Just a note: Voyager 1 and 2 were launched in 1977 --> trough star system and beond fearing probes, of which the first Star Trek Movie took its plot." Not quite. But thanks for catching that. "Voyager 6" was launched in the late 90's. This fictional probe was the one the returned as "V'ger" for TMP. I missed the "6" My bad.
I'd be happy to help. I'm afraid I know very little about modding in and of itself, but where I can help is creating the text descriptions for a Trek style tech tree. For instance, one of the advanced knowledge segments might be: Tree Title (V'ger Download) +10 Research In 1996 The Earth probe Voyager was launched in an effort for its creators to learn more about its solar system. It, like many such efforts from various civilizations, eventually left its solar sy
I will buy. It's not just a few tweaks and some ship parts. In some ways it will present as an entirely new game. Given all that they will add I think $25 is a fair price.
This might be something that corresponds to luck....and a prolonged espionage expense...but I would love to steal an enemies starships. And choose to either incorporate them into your own fleet or strip them for analysis. If you strip them you lose the ship but get any tech advancements they might have over you.
I'm having a similar deal. Playing normal as a custom race with increased luck. I "found" 3 Rangers in the space of 8 turns
