Thx for the replies guys. I'm trying one on tough to see just how much the AI is cheating me. I normaly also go for planet improvements first to get the most out of my planets, research, factory, economy, etc techs. The thing is they still out-everything me and get crazy advanced weapons and build ships and colonize everything so fast. I could go head to head on the hardest levels before but this no tech trad eoption is a x1000 dificulty multiplier. I like it, just have to
I got two questions, one does the AI cheat and at what dificulty level it starts cheating. two, when you choose the "no tech trade" option does the AI still trade amongst themselves? I am always number one at tech when i cna trade techs, even on suicidal, and always the last when that option is on. even on 3 levels bellow suicidal, on masochistic. It seems like everyone has everything as if they have been trading techs all along. Any input would be welcome <img s
Just captured the Terra capital playing on Suicidal with the latest patch. Earth is class 11 Civilization capital x1 Economic Capital x1 Techonological capital x1 on a 300% research bonus tile - as far as i understand it, you don't get that added to the capital bonus right? so he just wasted 300% research starport x1 entertainment network x1 factory x6 with one factory placed on a 100% food bonus tile It's just a total waste of everyt
Try it and set yout research to zero, see if you can keep up with the AI on spyt stealing alone. if you can get enough tech that way it might be worth it.
economics and moral seems like a good thing to have in any situation
