I got this reply when I sent the same issue in with stardock a couple days ago at work. "Make sure you have the 'Show pre-release versions' box checked (lower left area of the screen)." I followed what it said and problem solved and beta working, only thing now is my star dock doesn't want to seem to connect or show my games list and status just keeps saying verifying internet connection status..

New Bugs in that I got in Gal Civ2 1. I now have a new problem, my space stations before I construct them dont show in the view window so you can see what each one looks like. its just the space background with no station visible, the station is visible on the game itself just not in the Construction window. 2.I also am having a hard time getting my fleets to set a point long range. like I can get them to move like 1 or 2 weeks/ps but even if they have like 8 to 10 moves they can do, I
Oh ok thank you, I thought maybe my game was having issues but thanks for clearing that up for me. I haven't played this game in awhile so my memory of how it plays out is a little fuzzy.
I have been having trouble now with installing this game, everytime I install it and update it, it makes it so each race has federalists as their party? I thought each race had a different party, or is this a result of the patching? I also am wondering if there is a way to completely delete galciv2 so as to get a clean install I'm thinking there are some files Im not finding and this is causing my game to always make it install awkwardly and have all the races have federalists as their party.
