The AI in complex games like this suck, and I guess it will remain so for many years to come. I bought this game due to the reviews it got about the AI, but was disapointed. I am not saying there are any games that have better AI, but the games reviews highlighted it. Anyway it is still a good game.

Hello, I have the latest official release GalCiv2_10X_BonusPack_030806.exe installed. The bugs I experience are: Anomalies disapear after saves and then reloading the game (sometimes). This espically occurs in Quicksave games. Don't know how to make it happen, it just happens and annoys the crap out of me. Reloading save and pressing turn nothing gets built? Thanks Kalin. I do have a starport on Earth but I built the ship on Mars. A bit silly really that I can't change the home planet... one is economic the other is manufacturing it just makes more sense to built it on Mars then move it to earth and then setup the route.
I built a trader on planet Mars and I want it to trade between Earth and the alien planet. I am unable to do so. It seems the only way to get the Home rally point set to planet Earth is to build a trader on that planet. I tried to build a starport and then moved the trader to Earth but still the Home point is set to Mars. So my question is how do I change the home planet so I can trade using planets that do not have starports. Sec
Hello, Great fan of the ship designing aspect of the game. So here are a few suggestions to improve it: It would be nice to have a seperate directory that stores only empty hulls of ships (i.e. ones without add-ons). Another suggestion is currently you have three tabs (All, User, Core); be nice to have a Hulls tab that just displays ships without addons. Also it would be cool to have acess to a ship hull desig

The best thing about it is not lack of CD protection but the lack of CD that is great. Once installed I don't have to try and find the CD every time I have to play the game. Great move.. I wish all companies would follow suit.
Hello, I created my account yesterday through this site (GalCiv2.com), and it created a Stardock account for me. I was able to validate and activate the account (through email). I then downloaded the Stardock Central program and tried to login in using my email and password. It seems that the password I used contains characters that "Stardock Central" does not like.
