Clickable controls overtop Clickable controls ( i.e. you've just watched an animation and you click the "Done" button and the underlying button has brought up the race treaties screen. Dunno what game yer playing, but that's never happened to me... use a bigger screen resolution. I've got a mouse that likes to double click on me. This happens quite often. I play at 1026 x 728 resolution.
I've had Galciv 2 for a couple of weeks. I was using the 1.0x version and everything was ok after I updated my video drivers. But now half way through a 1.1 game I've hit a wall. I've reloaded using several different save games. At exactly the same number of turns the screen goes black and a window pops up saying that a problem occurred with the game, would you like to report it. I tried reporting but I can't connect to my dial up and the screen stays black. Nothing will work. When I hit ctrl-al
True. But I'd rather nail the guy with copyright infringements than just a mistake in shipping. I've already started my complaints. I knew better than buy this but I'm getting cheap in my old age. Just interesting how things worked out.
A little update on my deal. I recieved a letter from Malaysia today with a disc in it. Unfortunately the disc wasn't even GalCiv 2. I got Rise of Nations-Thrones and Patriots. It's an expansion for a game I don't even own. Just great. How can I tell if it's an illegal copy or not? The disc looks good but I can't install it without the original. I want my money back and am going to bitch to paypal about it.
Thanks for all the replies. The type of box doesn't matter in the slightest too me. The extras would be ok but not worth paying more. Limited edition is mentioned on ebay that's why I asked about it. I've just been taken a couple of times on ebay and I'm tired of it. I'll probably order direct from stardock because I'm not finding it anywhere near me in stores.
Like the title says I'm wondering what is the difference between these three? I want to buy the game and want to know which would best suit my wants.

I wish I had seen this a couple of weeks ago. I just started reading this forum. I bought from him too. I haven't recieved my order yet. I thought it might be a little fishy. But his rating was ok and he was located in the UK. It wasn't until after I bought that he said the disc was coming from somewhere else.
