I especially would like to get the ones I've read about where a good race will turn evil (Altarians or Torians I think). That way my ultimate good custom race can have a bit more of a challenge, because as it is now both those races are the #2&3 after me and they just want to be my friends and it goes against my race's beliefs to just declare war on good people. I think for Dark Avatar or future patches there should be tons more random events added and then let "random events" be a slid

A bit off topic but.... I never get events! I hear so much about these cool events but I never get them. Way back before the patches when I was Universalists I got the Lucky Ranger event numerous times, but in over 10 full sandbox games I haven't gotten anything else. (No, that's not true, once I got the one where some civ's leader got assassinated and they blamed another civ - not mine - or something like that.) Is there a way to increase event frequency? I just found a bug where randomly in the middle of my sandbox game (don't know how many turns, but a lot...4 hours or so of gameplay worth) the "turn" button dissappears. I know the AI isn't going and I can interact with the game in every way but to press the turn button. It's not like the button won't click, it seriouly just isn't there in the intrface. I tried loading autosave game and it gave me the whole tech choice and "earth creatures..." window, and still the turn button isn't there.

Thanks Ignuss and Tertullian! That is exactly what I was looking for. Man the Drengin suck, but then again, my custom race are a righteous, paladins in space, all evil must be destroyed no matter the cost people who declare war on the Drengin and Yor right off the bat even if they are immensely more powerful...so I'm a bit biased. It leads to some fun games, though, especially when the Terrans and Torians decide that my benevolent imperial rule is a threat to their freedom. The Altarian

Wow, this is insane. I was just logging in to post this exact same question myself (for the exact same reasons) and I see it right there on top of the recent posts sidebar. Crazy.
