I follow the point that I put forward in terms of side fairly definitely, and the point about star dreadnaughts etc. I follow as I thought it was correct, and probably will continue to do so out of habit...

Zerogman: Let me introduce you to some REAL SW fanatics. If they saw your comments, they would not be happy. Here: Link This page is devoted to the common mile-long destroyer known to the forces of the Galactic Empire as the Imperator-class star destroyer, and colloquially known as Imperial star destroyer to reb

Problem solved. It wasn't even as complex as an incorrect path in Xfire - the stupid program no longer recognised GC2 since an update. Since the ability to 'scan for games' has vanished from my Xfire menus, I had to reinstall. Wonderful... still, it launches GC fine now. Oh, and thanks for the suggestion, Foogsert...

Bit of a long story behind this one, so bear with me... When I first got GC2, I did the full download from Stardock onto a seperate partition from the one that XP was installed on. Hence, when said windows partition died, I didn't lose my installation of GC2. When I reinstalled windows, I could happily play GC2, even though it wasn't 'technically' installed. I quickly realised that this wouldn't work forever, though, as SDC didn't recognise the installation, ergo I could

In fact, the ONLY thing that makes the Custom race fundamentally different from the others is that they get to choose their starting techs (well, that and the fact that you can't play against them). Not true, actually. I was playing metaverse with some rather odd settings the other day with random races, and what turned up as I was expanding?

Well, read the description of the massive hull. It says it is approxmatly 3000 meters long. Of course it doesn't really appear that way since next to a medium it appears to be about only 3 or 4 times longer. 3000 meters, 3km, or 1.8miles. That makes the massive hull 1400 meters, 1.4km, or .8 miles longer than an Imperial-class Star Destroy (For all you Star Wars

Not a bad idea. I'm racking in a little under 2k per turn with my current game, though I forget the date. Bankruptcy used to be a big problem, but now I don't think I could if I tried. And the weird thing is, I don't know what I'm doing differently... Oh yes! Forget the military techs to begin with, just focus on the resource ones. If you're ever feeling short, work on morale and crank up the taxes. I'm at 80% odd taxation with 75% morale. As for G/N/E... haven't trie

What I tend to do with all those expensive, high-power guns that you get early in the tech-tree is put them on 'flagships'. With the Yor that I'm currently obliterating the galaxy with, I have medium ships with three Singularity drivers and three deflectors for my main weapon, and a medium with two Nano Rippers and four deflectors to lead them, for example. A while ago, I did something similar with psionic beams.

Concerning Chaos and Imperial designs, they're all actually Imperial. I'm not entirely sure why there aren't more ships from each other used in the lists, if you see what I mean, but in the Armada expansion for BFG, there's an option to use chaos ships in an Imperial fleet... So I think that you'd be safe in combining Chaos, Imperial and Marine ship designs into one general type. Then you'd have Orks, Eldar, Tyranids, Tau and Necrons. The Necrons do actually have quite a
