Conquest has become my favorite of late, but I have won many, many more diplomatic and influence victories. One of the most enjoyable things is when you have supreme military power, and use it to get what you want without any real war. Threats and the classical strategy of declaring war and then sign a peace treaty with planets as payment. I have won many influence victories with the treath of military use. However, this only works when you could have crushed them anyway, but it's simply so fun
