I don't believe they are "phantom" attacks. I have recently encountered attacks from the human AI player, whom I am at war with. The problem: There ship graphics are now invisible!!! The only thing visible is a small number (3 for example), the total of ships in that fleet so they're easily overlooked on the star map. There fleets were visible earlier in the game and still are in some areas of the map but, in others the fleets do not show up on the star map or in the combat video. MY ships just
