If you're talking about the xml files, those can be edited in any text editor. Notepad, wordpad, etc.... I believe he means the files found in the MyDocuments\MyGames\GalCiv2\ships directory where all the custom ships are located. They aren't XML files and can't be intelligently edited with a brea

When I place an object, such as a hyperdrive, on the ship and then remove it, the benefit and cost is gone, but the design still states that it requires hyperdrive technology. The same thing happens with any module I place on the ship. So say I placed a mass driver on the ship, then decided to go with missles.
