Yeah, I got this too. For fun, I decided to try trading with myself, which didn't seem to work - although my 'twin' was agreeable to my demands. When I gave him all my planets, though - game over. Bleh.
I really dislike the current "planet race" stage of the game. I'm not sure if it could be done easily, but I'd love to have an option to start a game with all planets already allocated/occupied, with a single factory on each.

/delurk Thanks, Stardock... my wife isn't too pleased with this new game I've purchased (OK, she's not pleased that I'm spending so much time in front of the PC), but it's the best thing I've seen, or played, in years. It's absolutely reminiscent of MOO and MOM, two of my all-time favorites. I also appreciate the amount of work you're doing with the bug fixes and enhancements, and hope the larger publishers take notice that that kind of thing wins you customers. Anyway, her
