I've been trying to upload an image to diplay with my posts and have not been able to get it done yet. Tried resizing the image before upload, tried changing the jpeg settings in my editing program, all to no avail. What are the requirements of an image: size, jpeg quality, color depth? Can't figure out what I'm missing . . . Thanks

GalCIv seems a tall order to learn 4X strategies on - I've had the game for over a month and am still 'dialing-in' the game to suit my personal prefrences. I really appreciate this ability to customize the GalCiv experience, which is lacking in so many other games I have played. I've been researching 'Planetary Improvements' to start with, because of the universal bonuses it gives to production and the like right off the bat. This strategy comes from my experience with the 'Total War'

I tried to restart last night, but the issue remained. I've got some free time now so I'll see if my saved game loads & functions proper-like now . . .

Heroine4Life: Sorry about misnaming my post, but it's pretty critical to me! Point taken. smjjames & ShadowTek.Net: I don't think that enough good can be said about Stardock's support. I'm an avid gamer, and will testify to anyone that Stardock is the best company I've delt with, period. Much has been said about this in the forums already, so I really can't add more! Peace

Hey everyone! I feel I have to create a post for those considering updating to the new 1.2 Beta 1. Unlike previous Betas released by Stardock (Awsome Support, BTW!), this one has a game-stopper, in that the ship designer now deletes all jewelry when upgrading. This means that the design you've spent an hour to create is only useable once, for now. As a new Beta is due from Stardock soon, I've no doubt that this will be fixed directly, but unfortunately there is this BIG problem w/v1.2 Beta
