I did a clean install on my notebook and all the editors are there. The install I'm having problems with is on my main computer. I made sure I had the release version. So, I uninstalled ToA and then went in and deleted the folder. I then used Impulse to reinstall ToA but now I have none of the editors showing up. I may need to just go back and reinstall everything (GCII and expansion) to see if that fixes the issue. At least I've gotten to pay around a bit with them on my notebook, very nice
Hi everyone! So far I'm loving ToA, grats on a job well done! I did a search, but couldn't find anything about it so maybe someone can give me some info on where the tech and ship editors are? All I get from the list are the map, scenario and campaign editors. I'd love to try tweak some ships and tech! Thanks
I've been playing GCV 1 and 2 for a long time. I'm not very good at these kinds of games but I do love them. My first being MOO 2. But I have to say I'm glad the devs have given us the option to turn off the mega events. I kind of wish that there would be a way to edit them, maybe tone them down a bit. I was just playing a new game and was doing well then BAM! Pirates took over half of my planets and a lot of my special buildings (tech caps and so on) and for me that kind of ruined the game
I would say let it cook a bit longer!
Same here, I pre-ordered a few months ago when it was first offered.
After todays update I'm seeing bad slow down after an hour or so of playing. I haven't had this problem at all before today. AMD 64 4000+ GeForce 7800GTX 256 2 gig 3500 Windows XP Pro SP2
Grats guys! The game is every bit a 5 out of 5 IMO, keep up the good work!
