Good needs more of an influence bonus. As it is now, Neutral can win with tech and Evil with military conquest. Perhaps have Good have good defense so they can win with influence? Perhaps give them a special culture building or something that gives a big influence and/or diplomatic bonus. I think Evil is pretty powerful, and at most need just a little tweaking. The slave center and free invasions are really great buildings. And you get all the goodies from random events. Bu

I don't understand how that works out. The idea is that 4 of this new building is equal to 3 of the other maxed-out buildings. But you get it much earlier (so you can exploit it sooner). Or, as an alternative, it should provide an economy bonus in lieu of morale (though Stock Markets are still preferable because they provide morale and influence buffs in additio
Frankly, I think that makes Neutral too weak. For each planet, I usually build 1, at most 2 (for more populous planets), morale buildings. Then all the rest factories, unless its a research planet, then I build research buildings. Now, the way you suggest it, I'm going to have way to much a morale:industry:research ratio. After four buildings, I'd have put as much morale as I normally would on a planet. It would be better for me to simply build the lowest tech buildings for everything than to ha
It apparently updates all the research buildings after you have researched neutral learning centers, but after capturing planets and stuff, it doesn't upgrade. It does upgrade to discovery sphere tho.
Thanks for the tips. Hadn't thought of that one. This will make ship creation so much easier!
Also, is there a way where I can bring up saved ship designs (just the extras) from previous games? When I update a ship design, I keep the design but just update the tech (engine, weapon, defense etc) usually save it the same name. Apparently these ships are saved with the tech on them. So when I start a new game, these ships are unavailable for use and I can't bring up the designs(since I obviously haven't researched the tech), so I have to redesign the ships. It takes time that I don't always
I have noticed that the speed of ship building is dependant on the amount of factories that are built. I was wondering what the amount was for very fast building? Have you also noticed that planet improvement building is also dependent on the amount of factories? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Wink.gif" border=0 ALIGN="ab
It's actually the entire civilization. Tested. Not sure by how much though, but definitely worth building.
It would be nice to be able to turn off those "Are you sure" messages!! While we're on UI suggestions, and because my posts don't seem to appear where I actually post them, might I suggest a way to upgrade ships while they're stacked or in a ship? Right now, I have to move a ship to an empty space in order to get the upgrade option. I can't upgrade individual ships when they are in a fleet or stacked. Annoying as hell. I don't believe there's a hotkey for that either.
They're also worth crap trading.
Yeah, it frustrated me a lot the first several times. Then I just killed them off. But sometimes it's fun to keep them alive and help them out. But then again, that Class 15 planet is just too tempting...
You know how the TURN button disappears during the AI's turn? Well, what happens is that I'm done with my turn and click TURN. It then disappears, and the AI moves. But it's as if the AI never completed its turn because the TURN button never comes back. I can't move any of my ships. The game practically freezes, although I could click around and open stuff. I'll try hitting SPACE if it ever happens again, but I don't have that game saved anymore. Thank
Yeah happening to me too. This is my third post. It's driving me crazy because I want this bug answered!!! ==== This happened just today as I was playing.
