Yup. I have been since 1999 when I bought Europe Universalis 1. I have played all Paradox's developed titles and most of them are on my own favorite games list.
Paradox is the official publisher of GalCiv2 in Europe. Both companies are known for sharing a lot of views on the gaming industry and I believe Paradox was one of the first publishers to come to Impulse and in return Stardock was one of the first publishers available on Gamersgate. It is very common on the Paradox forums to see people mention Stardock as a "sister" company in terms of how and for who they make games. Paradox doesn't own Stardock though. <p
As for the Social => Military transfer. If you are under 100% social spending how on earth you expect your military to build anything. Try 99% social and 1% military and you'll see that the transfer happens. (that is if you are playing the beta) Lost turn? Are you assuming that, or did you actually test it? I don't think you lose the production the game only doens't store the numbers. Could it be that for a smaller save file and quicker saving process the game doens't save this number
Why do we only get warnings about peace settlements and not of declarations of war. I imagine this wouldn't be too hard to implement. It would make keeping track of what is going on in the galaxy a lot easier.
I 2nd AussieRay's suggestion regarding new ship designs. When I "Upgrade this design," I would like it to include all components of that ship, not just the barebones skeleton, as I find myself constantly canceling out of the process to see what I had on the original that I wanted to upgrade. I wish I had a better memor
The post wasn't pointless. It was an educational piece of work that should be used in "moderator schools" as the perfect example of a "bait post". Oh! And Stardock Sucks, because it is making Starforce look bad.
Easy one... I don't understand why I get warnings about other races making peace and not get warning about them declaring war on each other. Please give me a "war declared" warning.
Easy tweaks huh? 1. I wish we didn't start the game with a survey ship. It makes unlocking the technology to build one pointless, not to mention that why would you bother building another one anyway and also there is no reason to build the "Guide Book"(can't remember the exact name) wonder. Starting with a scout as opposed to a survey ship would add a hole new strategic path for us to follow at the beggining of the game. 2. I woul
Hello, I've been reading mixed suggestions about how to place economy starbases. Some people seem to think it works like GC1 where you had to put bases along a trade route. Others think you should stack them near the planet where the route starts. So I can't really narrow down the answer to this. Do I place econ.bases along a trade route? Or they only matter to the planet of origin so I should stack them up there?
