Black Startup Screen in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

OK, just updated GcivII and tried launching it, I got mostly black screen with about an inch of my background left on the rith hand of the screen. No sound or anything more, all I can do is Ctl-Alt-Del to get out of it. I am including the debug file. From looking at it it looks like its having difficulties changing the display settings.
