It would also be nice to apply the influence #'s used to sway a planet to sway a ship in a failing military to join your fleet.
The treaties thing is the weird part. I had an economic treaty with the strongest race (and relations were close), while the Korx had no treaties with that race. I suppose it could have been the chain of treaties...war with a friend of a friend of a friend... Still, doesn't seem right to go from close-->war in under ten turns.
Ever since the moo's, I've wanted to be able to warn, threaten, extort, etc the AI's like they do us. You know, when the Dregin ask for their protection money...I want to be able to do that too.
Neither the Drath nor the Altarians were present in my last game, and the two custom races that were present in their stead did not have super abilities. It was the Korx that declared war on me, then the Krynn, then EVERYBODY.
In the last three games GalCiv2: DA b2 games I've played I had great relations with about 1/2 of the empires, and so so with about 1/4 and there has been just one that really had it out for me. First game I was a custom, then the Thalians, then the Iconians; and about mid game, somewhere around the first empire getting knocked out it happens, like clockwork... One empire attacks me, and within 20 turns, all the rest of the empires attack me! It seems not to matter what alignme

Got a hard lock in DA:beta. I've emailed gc2bugs...but I reprint here in case anyone has any ideas. First, some weirdness: after I sniped a economic resource from the dread lords, they surrendered (immediately) to the terrans. The next turn, Drengin go to war with 3 races. About 10 turns or so later, I get a hard lock, no alt-tab, alt-enter, cntrl-esc available. It’s just frozen, but the music still plays. I got this lock three times, the last two after a clean reboot.<br/
Great game. Got it when it came out. First game I've played through FOUR times. I kept good notes on the story-missions, so I can win almost all of them reasonably easily (except mecha combat and pizza). Only downside is no patch for the original English DVD version. Russian version has been patched a number of times.

When I bring up the planet list, it's empty unless I click on one of the categories +1. I started an entirely new sandbox game and this happened from the start. To view my planets, I have to click the box next to "mine" then click "mine" for them to appear. If I click ships, then back, the planets are gone again. Als

Even when my militaty was much larger than the attacking force, of a "close" neighbor, I've had the AI refuse an alliance. In fact, I've never had an AI offer me an alliance.
I got your bug #3 today. It came after loading a quicksave. The Turn button was also gone. I loaded the save again, same result (then there was profanity!) I loaded the same save a second time and everything was back to normal.
I read that most software and art coders get fired after a project (by EA). Maybe they get hired back on for the next project, maybe not.
When SD **finally** finishes the MV scoring I hope/expect they will delete ALL scores back to zero to give everyone a fair shake.
Play on huge,common, back the remaining empire into a corner, research everything except ascension, upgrade every colony with everything and churn out starbases ad nauseum. Seems more like boredom than stamina.

(I tried searching; no luck) I played 4 games this past week, all neutral. The fifth game I played evil, and my medal turned "evil." I played 2 games on normal difficulty and the last three on challenging, and my medal is still "normal."
