When you buy a trade good from another race, It doesn't look like you have it. When I recheck my list of trade goods in the Diplomacy screen, I don't see it after I buy it. What's up with that? I have version 1.4x on the Dread Lords FYI.

Well, the strength of the single player campaign is in the sandbox games. That is where the game shines. As for the mulitplayer question, that has been beaten to death in many other topics. As for sales, Gal Civ II sold very well considering everything. And if your gonna write a long rant, please break it up into several paragraphs instead of just 2.

It was never too hard for me to figure out what all the techs are. A laser is a weapon and every new laser tech is simply a better laser which is a better weapon. If you don't understand the techs the first time you play, don't feel bad. It takes time to learn the game. However, a more detailed tech tree wouldn't be bad. Maybe it should go into the 1.4 version or the expansion.

"When an episode of Walker: Texas Ranger changed your life, you might be a redneck." Do I really have to tell you who said this?

And the game mechanics in Kingdom of Loathing were developed while drinking beer! How is that not awesome?

Rendorax, you seem to take this very seriously. Why not just make your own space game? If your throw half the passion into your game as you do your posts, you should do fine in that endeavor.

You also have to factor that you are not the only civilization. Not only does the event have to happen you also have 1 out of "number of civs in galaxy" chance to receive the benefit.

If your good you get to sing kom ba ya with your allies. If your evil you get to eat puppies for breakfast while your slave rubs your feet. If your neutral you say "eh?" and then watch TV.

I wonder how much harder the "Intense" AI will be? Will it make the AI strong enough to be effective? When the AI becomes moddable I would like to see if people can create good AIs themselves?

In the shipyard above the part where it list all the weapons you find three driffent planes saying "lasers", "mass drivers", and "missles." Simply click on "mass drivers" to get access to all the mass drivers weapons you researched. It's a UI improvement so that it's easier to organize your weapons.

There's enough conflict here to make the Drengin happy. Gamespot gave this game a high score and they are pretty tough reviewers. I'm glad that the game crashes because I would end up playing it all night long if the game didn't crash. Of course there are a bunch of things that could be improved. I want to be able to declare war and set rally points easily. Come to think of it, HOW DO YOU SET RALLY POINTS? The manual doesn't say how? I know that improveme

Reply to Poor Drengin in Game Talk

Well in my latest game the Drengins are winning the war between vs me and the torians. I'm not sure I can recuit more allies for the fight since they have a military rating of 400 when mine is 70 and the second highest is 150. It sucks that I have like 8 allies and only 1 will help me vs the Drengins. Looks like I'll have to make peace.
