I wasn't sure whether to put this into beta report or bug reports but... Since I tried to install the newest beta I have been unable to play the game. When I click run from Stardock central I get the error messages DALaunch.exe has stopped working or gc2launch has stopped working. I uninstalled the game. Reinstalled the game, same problem. When I got home it had a message about there being a server issue and said installation failed, so I tried again. It worked! or so I thought... Now I am getting a gc2launch has stopped working dialog box. I'm going to uninstall and the reinstall and see if that fixes things.

I was having an issue last night where the heightmaps map would complete downloading and then start again instead of installing. I let it run over night and they are still going, anyone else seen this?

Can you add Empire of None to the Alt-Meta?

I had this same problem with the ATI drivers released in April (i think). I just upgraded to the ones released on 0622606 and the problem seems to have gone away. Cheers Shawn
