I like some of the OP ideas but am also afraid this would create the need for control of single ships during battle ... maybe a petition to CA for "SPACE: Total War" helps ??

Can this be an option to turn off? ... I've asked that some weeks ago. So far it's not possible. Would be be a good feature to be able to turn off surrenders to other ai (my opinion). These surrenders are not really useful (in my case) to anyone: - due to the disbanding of all ships it's even easier to take planets. i really don't care who's the new owner if it's a lvl15-planet with high bonus fields next to my lvl5 ... - it's very likely that i'm not the only one intereste

Hi all As said in the topic my question simply is: is there any possibility in the game settings or by editing some code to keep the ai from surrendering ? It really drives me crazy to fight a 3 year long war i didn't start just for NOTHING !! Actually I didn't even take a single planet of my enemy because I COULD NOT INVADE (not developed) .. so what's the point surrendering to someone
