THANK YOU! Loading a saved game once a new game had been started worked. You rock.

My old post doesn't seem to be on the boards anymore, not sure why. Anyway, I'm still getting crashes, and really want some help or money back. PLEASE HELP I reinstalled my OS. I got it to load a saved game ONCE. Now it's back to failing on loading a saved game. I have the newest possible drivers for my video and sound cards. I updated both. I'm getting the same crash. I suspect, at this point, that I need to resign myself to not using save files until I reinstall my OS. More information: I'm using the retail download, and running Windows XP Professional. Are there any specific patches out there for this, or things I can do to work around the problem?

I can't load a saved game in galactic civ II. It makes the program crash. Also, the game crashed today when I tried to alt+tab back into it, but thay may have just been random.
