I dunno. I have to agree. There's not much way to avoid fighting them, since they start in the top righthand corner of the map and send a scout by to scope you out like 2 turns later. I tried a rush and their begining fighter just follows you from across the map, apparantly because it sees troop transports as a threat. And that's on the games I even GOT to planetary invasion tech... One game I had a DL troop transport show up on my (intended) major production planet on turn
