Game won't load in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I,m having trouble with getting my game to load. I have the collectors Edition and when i click on the shortcut menu i get a box that say's "GC2 Launch.EXE has encounted a problem and needs to close we are sorry for the inconvenience". I was woundering if any one can help me to get it to work.
