i have a suggestion and bugs for WindowFX 3.0 suggestion: the taskbar preview things are neat, but they're not useful for me unless the preview is updated each time i view it instead of just when the window is minimized (eg for checking the status of a download or the progress of a webpage load). i know it's slower to update it each time, but it should be an option. bug: when you use the alt+tab replacement, the program

isn't the overlay when it creates the video on top of everything on the screen, not really even in any window, but just at a certain position on the screen, so that it can paint it faster? is this the same as hardware acceleration? cause i know when i would try to take a screen cap of a video i couldn't do it, cause the video isn't in the window, just overlayed. and one solution is to turn off hardware acceleration. but when i would do that i can't pla

frogboy, you may very well be right. the crack could have been the cause, not some intentional revenge code put in by stardock. i don't know how you programmed the thing so obviously i can't say. but i would think the painting code and the activation code would have to be intertwined fairly well in order for altering one to affect the other. for anyone who is curious about what i program, i'll tell ya. the most warezed one is called Bash HTM

btw, as many people know, there are patches for uxtheme.dll to use unsigned xp vidual styles. i use that as well as patched kernels for custom boot screens as well. never had a single problem. it is safe to patch even system files, because you are only modifying the section of the file that you need to. it doesn't affect performance or induce bugs. also, my file that logs the names and ips of people pirating my program is probably like, 700K
