I think it will be made. They are are focusing on Elemental for now, maybe for more experience for more designers and to fine tune the game engine. Then they will use it to make Galactic Civilizations 3. . Many game designers have made a new style of game and game engine in between releases of their star game. (This forum is not placing my paragraph/sentence spacers when I use the quick reply box.)

Distant Worlds has open space travel between systems and in systems, which are all on one "field" with excellent zoom parameters. The ships can stop or fight in open space or examine various stellar objects. Nebulas affect movement and shields. There are gas clouds to mine. The star systems have orbiting and rotating planets and moons. https://forums.galciv2.com/377079 (Distant Worlds; 4Ex Space Strategy; What do you
I haven't played in a long time either. Did most updates apply to both the open, non-campaign games AND the campaign games? I usually play just the open, non-campaign games anyway.
ORIGINAL: Erik Rutins Hi everyone, The v1.0.3 update is now in internal testing. If everything looks good, we will make it a public beta tomorrow and release it as official later this week. Here's the list of changes: Items fixed/added in v1.0.3: 1. Memory usage extensively optimized and reduced. Large games now consume much less memory. Should resolve the crashes related to Out of Memory and crashes during save/load. 2. Add

I ordered Armada 2526 from the Gamestop website for $39.99. I chose the free shipping that said it will be 5 to 12 days. It arrived in 2 days; the time the second highest shipping price. Thus, I got the game in 2 days for $39.99 plus tax(a few dollars).
Armada 2526 has been officially stated, but not updated yet on page, to be released on 11-24-09. Though, the forum has people stating that they are getting it at a Gamestop in Texas today, 11-20-09. http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tt.asp?forumid=758 ---------- Also, a forum excerpt concerning the apparently excellent AI: http://www.m

http://www.merzo.net/index.html I like the Ringworld and Dyson Sphere under the "Big" tab! Quote: "The charts are intended to be interactive such that Internet explorer users may click and drag the starships within the charts to arrange them in whichever way they please. I am working on incorporating the same feature for Netscape and other web browser users. The site is very Graphics intensive by nature and therefore is targeted towards a higher bandwidth connection (DSL, etc).
Constuctive critisism and benevolent praise to follow. I hate that glare. It's not fun! Glares are bad but they put this one in the game on a map that is used for tiny detail. What the ....? C'mon'.....Remove it, Stardock! This is a future interface for the leader of a civilization. Glares can be eliminated! Fix this and improve other details and more of us might actually consider buying the next expansion. I will play another game again once the "feel" and atmosphere of
I haven't won with an alliance victory yet. As I understand it from the in game description it could be won this way. Is that so? It states some thing like making an alliance with all civilizations that you are not currently at war with. Is "currently" the key word here? I think an alliance victory should require the alliances plus regular voting in the united council place until a civilization is declared the leader of peace or some thing like that.
Since when does a bug not need to be fixed? This premise by some is rediculous. All bugs should be fixed; usually before new features are added. I, like many or even most customers, am one that loads often. I work and play in other areas too so I often will play a game of less than 10 turns a day. This bug affects those of us that play this way the most. Those of us that work and play in short sessions are the majority that often do not post either or mod games. This has been found in p
I wish there could be an option to make the auto-switch not cycle after a ship enters orbit. But I guess that would be asking for a bit much. Are you refering to some thing like the non-cycle of ships toggle that is in the options menu?
But what bonus do non Super Breeders get for the 100% approval?
Hi. It's been awhile since I've played. I'm starting a new game soon of Dark Avatar. In 'Dark Avatar, do all civilizations still get the population growth bonus for 100% approval or is that just for the Super Breeders? Super Abilities state that 'Super Breeders' get a population growth bonus for 100% approval. That sounds as if it implies that others do not or that Super Breeders get more of a bonus. This should be clarified in game.

because this bug definitely affects me pretty severely. i'm not one to reload after a couple bad turns, but i am one to only play a couple turns per night. hey, when you work 10-12 hours a day it's hard to spend more than 90 minutes running your galactic empire on the side. This is similiar to my situation also. If this issue is not fixed then I may just stop playing this game for awhile and go back to Civilization IV and some others. Civilization IV, Be
