I hope this is not a FAQ. I have a very specific scenario that I would like to use Multiplicity for, and I was just wondering if this is feasible: I do some private computer tutoring. During the lessons, the students and I use two computers in parallel, so I explain something on my computer, and they recreate it on theirs. Sometimes, they mess something up, so sometimes I have to grab their mouse a

No, was I supposed to? I don't think it said anywhere that I needed to update, and like I said, DA installed successfully. So I guess this was somewhat of a PEBKAC on my behalf after all. <img src="http://images.sta
You were perfectly right! Actually, I didn't have that file in my screens directory at all. In any case, that fixed both problems. Thank you so much for the very quick help! I guess I'll be spending the next 24 hours playing DA. <a href="https://www.stardock.com/products/sdcentral/" title="Posted via
When I start Dark Avatar, I get into the menu screen, but when I try to enter the Options menu, the game crashes. Also, when I try to start a new game, I get through the game setup, and then it looks for a moment as if it's starting the game, but then it crashes. I tried deinstalling and reinstalling the game (as I got the impression from the debug.err that some file may be missing in the installation), but that didn't help either. The installer claims that installation was successful.
You got to be kidding me! I can't run Stardock Central. Don't ask why, I have no idea - it just doesn't start up. So I guess I can't update GalCiv2 then? Why in the world do I have to install a software to upgrade a software anyway? Why can't I just download an EXE file like I would with any other game out there?
Ok, I'll hijack this old thread as it comes closest to the question I have: Is there ANY way to figure out exactly which techs are required to build a specific ship (both core and user ships)? I mean, I'd like to have a list of all core/user ships where I can click on a ship class and it will tell me "To build this, you need to research..." For example, the AI always builds heavy fighters very early in the game, but I just can't figure out what I need to research to build them (and I coul
Thank you SO much! This is absolutely great! I usually don't buy German versions but instead order games e.g. from Amazon UK and this game reminded me why: The German version is a total mess ! Lots of stuff isn't translated, a lot of stuff is missing even in the parts that are translated (so you get blank spaces in the middle of sentences), the stuff that is on the map isn't translated at all (so your home planet is "Earth", not "Erde" and
When I start the game my screen goes black, then I get a cursor for a few seconds, after which I am dumped back to my desktop. That is exactly the same problem I'm having. Debug Message: Version v1.0 last updated on: Mon Feb 6 12:52:05 2006 Debug Message: Could not find a TGN Serial
