I think it would be a good idea too. I play on a laptop, and I often have to zoom in/out on the minimap when sending my scouts or colony ships. It is both time-consuming and confusing - I am often wondering things like : is this sector on the minimap and that sector on the general map the same? I support this idea.
Hi ! I started a game with the Terrans, I think Earth looked normal, but the introduction text (the very first thing to appear when you start a game, with the classement and the blabla) reffered to the Torians and not to the Terrans. Maybe there is a link ?
I experienced something that looks like a bug in my game today. On two on my planets the population in stuck and not increasing anymore, even though the maximum hasn't been reached. The two planets are quality 4, the pop is stuck around 2.6B (not the same exact number for both) while the max is 6B. The morale on the planets is normal ( >70% ) and shouldn't prevent the growth of the population from happening. Am I missing something ?
