Thanks for the information. I have downloaded Stardock central. I guess the worse thing is that I'm out 10 bucks for an update to an older game! No biggee. The good news is that I haven't had any crashing issues with the game in Vista yet.
Just purchased Gold II and the Altarian Prophecy expansion pack. The Gold II installs ok but when I install the expansion I first get a message that hklm/software/stardock/drengin.net/galciv cannot be found. It continues the install but when I try to click on the game icon to start I get a message that the "gcloader.exe' stopped working and windows gives me the option of seeing if there is a fix or stopping the program. Clicking on the fix search does nothing. I have Windows Vista as my operatin
