You do ... sort of. If you look down the right hand side of the screen you get that little green planet icon (sort of like the blue ship finished icon) that falls down. If you click on that you go to the planet in question, just like you go to the planet with the finished ship. Kupkake.
Just finished a great game as the Yor, (both influance then kicking butt) So I though I'd start a new game. Custom race Med gal. fast tech bla bla bla. Ok first turn. Find a great close planet and colonize while flagship looks around. Great star system 2 hops away (low FTL drives) with 5 habitable planets. I buy my next colony ship and send it off (new FTL drive so it gets there a little faster) No problem, maybe we are now up to 5 turns or so. look a little more and I run into the Hum
interesting you should mention that they look ugly..... I have a couple that are actualy very cool. If I could figure out how to take a picture I'd send it in so everyone could see it.
