I bought the game here about 2 weeks ago (german version) and after I got downloaded the english version and got the latest update I really enjoy it. Unfortunately this resulted in the game being only 95% localized (dunno why perhaps because i simply moved the old installation path to another location and also installed the game into the same directory several times). Well the stardock updates the game just fine - the only problem is that it won't start after the update. If the update is not designed for the european version then it should tell me that I isn't (at least I hope to). Well at least I'm not the only one who is having problems with the german version ...

I'm running the german version of Galactic Civilizations II and always when I try to save a currently running game for the second time the game crashed. When I try to load this saved game the game also crashes. Well of course one can always quit the game after one saved and reenter it so that one can save again later but I hate the Idea that I forget quitting and play about 20 rounds just to see the game crashing when I wanted to save. Well i just bought the game today. Well after the installation I wondered why there was no sound playing during the intro (but the game played sound as soon as I aborted the intro) - so I downloaded the stardock central, the latest update, and the collectors edition bnus pack.
