Experienced an interesting problem yesterday. Finished research on XenoEthics the turn of an autosave, crashed, loaded the autosave. The save loaded without a hitch and XenoEthics was finished in my tech tree, but the ethical alignment selection dialog didn't come back up. Researched Good and Evil, which did not trigger a chance to make an ethical choice.
