Reply to Cannot Play game! in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

It ask for the serial and an email address. I didn't remember having to do it before, but I did register the serial because of the Collectors edition content. I have the CE downloads when they first came out and bonus packs. all installed without problem, but when i try and start the game it pops up and ask for serial and email address. After doing it, it says Active.exe unable to locate server. I'm at work so i can't get the exact error, but that is the jist of it.

Greetings, I bought Galciv II when it first came out. Hard drive crashed recently and I was going to play the game again. I have the disc, fresh install. NO INTERNET CONNECTION at home. The game will not let me play because it wants to check with server. I validated my serial when i first bought it and downloaded all the bonus content, but cannot seem to locate any patches or downloads for the game. How can I get this activated, so i can at least play it again? <br
