Question about Dark Avatar in Game Talk GalCiv2 Forums

Alliances with minor races in Game Talk GalCiv2 Forums

When recently playing I found myself in an odd situation that I was unable to overcome. I was trying to win by conquest, but had made an alliance with a minor race. I was going to break the alliance off and attack them, but I was unable to find any way at all to break my treaty with them. Not only that, I wasn't able to attack them because of the alliance, and the game told me I had to break the alliance with them before I could attack. Only problem was I couldn't figure out how! An

Question about medals in Metaverse GalCiv2 Forums

I am curious how the Metaverse determines which medals to award you. I have received the Altarian medal, but when I view my profile I am told that my favorite race is the Arceans. How does it decide which medal to give you? Why would it be different than my favorite race? Also, what are the other medal types and how do you get them? Place, Achievement, Access Level, etc? Hey there!! When creating a new game and choosing a race, I am presented with the abilities they have. After choosing a race and clicking next, I am allowed to further customize their abilities. If I choose the abilities tab and click reset, I have 10 points to spend, but there are still some abilities left over. This is hard to explain, so I will give an actual example.
