I was running elemental at 1920 * 1080 in full screen , alt-tabed out, came back, and got a DX call crash. For some reason it didn't create a zip file. Here is the debug err file http://pastebin.com/ZeThD6Qp In multiplayer, I ended up queuing 3 farms to build on 1 farm plot. The city thought it had 2 farms, though it only had one. Here's a screenshot illustrating this http://dl.dropbox.com/u/24206199/Elemental_1300904247.jpg After this, I made the resolution of Elementat 1440 * 900, a

I think different types of multiplayer would help. Multiplayer designed for friends to play together against AI (less worry about cheating, turn enforcement) should be much cheaper / easier to implement than competitive multiplayer pvp where you are playing with unknowns. The friend coop is what I use this, HOMM, and Civ for. I don't really care if I can ever play multiplayer against people, or with people I don't know. From looking at your output, response time, and service, you people don't sleep. I also assume you eat through IV and have certain.... *plumbing* installed at each desk. Of course, this is just a guess. Oh! Wait. This must be one of those "working on something you can be proud of" things. I've been doing corporate

As I understand, you can play a hot seat game by taking over an alien race. Has anyone tried doing this over the net? By which I mean set up VNC (a screen/application sharing utility) and hooking up to a friends computer? This would be a rather sick hack, but I think you might be able to get away with it.

I am interested in multiplayer, but only for coop. Like, me and 2 friends run 3 civs and take on the rest of the universe. We use civ4 now with the team setting to start out that way as an example. Any chance of incorporating something like this? It's really good for work. You Gal civ in a window for 5 minutes, then (during friends turn) work for 5 minutes. The time in game lets ideas percolate through the brain so you work more efficiently. Rea
